During my 100-hour placement as a Social Media and Marketing Assistant at "dogstar," spanning from May to July 2023, my primary role was to support various tasks related to social media content creation, newsletters, and marketing reports. The dogstar owner provided me an opportunity to keep working at dogstar after I finished my internship.
My placement at "dogstar" provided valuable experiences and lessons, particularly in effective communication, managing stress, and embracing imperfections. While I faced numerous challenges, I emerged with a more vital self-awareness and a willingness to embrace growth opportunities in my future endeavours.

Crafting Green - A sustainable fashion zine for everyone
I built up this project by myself from the research stage, project planning to prototype.
Crafting Green is a sustainable fashion zine for everyone which against the consumption culture by providing those anti-capitalism actions to implement sustainable fashion at home. It aims to provide the audiences, especially people who would like to save money from buying new clothes, with multiple methods to extend the life cycle of clothes they already own. Back in the day, clothes can last longer, people treated clothes carefully by mending and repairing them to keep clothes in a good condition. It means clothes can last longer than our expectations, as long as we treat them carefully. However, nowadays most people do not know the proper ways to take care of clothes, furthermore, capitalism drives people to keep buying. I believe that if the proper ways to take care of clothes can be shared, the waste and needs of garments might reduce.

Fashion flat drawing and technical drawings are my artistic passion and area of expertise. I excel in meticulously bringing fashion designs to life on paper, infusing each stroke with dedication and precision. My portfolio showcases a rich tapestry of expertise, reflecting a deep understanding of fashion design and a keen eye for translating ideas into visual masterpieces. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality drawings, I am eager to contribute my passion and skill to elevate any creative projects or teams I join.
Drummond - 2021 A/W Collection
Drummond’s 2021 Autumn/Winter collection is based on the trend of Nature rerooted. The three core values of our brand are “back to green”, “outdoor-proofing”, and “multi-functional”.
Our target audience is creators and designers of any gender who seek multi-functional clothing that can be worn on any occasion. Therefore, I strived to add details such as pockets, drawcords, buttons and zippers into the design to address the needs of the target audience. Besides designing various pockets for carrying things, the clothes from this collection can also fit into different occasions by adjusting the details.
During the process of drawing, I took inspiration from tech wear and utility-style. I also focused on learning the way to draw different pockets, which helped me in drawing garment details. Additionally, since the clothes from this collection are loose-fitting, I learned the importance of proportion and the different ways to display loose-fitting clothes on technical drawings.
Product Development
This project aims to analyze the current trend of cargo pants and showcase the innovative cargo pants designs for the brand "Juun. J" that are based on meticulous trend analysis for the upcoming season.
Product Development for Collaboration
The Product Development project is an exciting and innovative collaboration between the indie band Dayglow and the forward-thinking brand Ader Error. This dynamic project brings together the worlds of music and fashion to create a unique and cutting-edge product line that resonates with their mutual audience.
The project entails analyzing both Ader Error and Dayglow, identifying their target audience, conducting textile research and selection, creating fashion illustrations and technical drawings, preparing spec sheets and costing sheets, and compiling collaboration information.
FROCKET ZINE
2022 Fashion Circular Economy
I'm a web design and production editor in the team.
FROCKET is a student-run project that provides students with the opportunity to produce an industry-quality magazine. The team approaches the project with excitement and enthusiasm, as it is a real-world experience of working among like-minded individuals to develop a tangible outcome. The team comprises two units: the freelancers, responsible for producing the written and visual content; and the editorial team, responsible for managing the production of the magazine.
Bottle Up - Fashion Film
The film aims to de-stigmatize non-conforming masculinity and challenge harmful stereotypes. It supports the idea that fashion can be for cisgender, heterosexual men and should not be limited to femininity or queerness. The goal is to encourage more cishet men to embrace de-gendering fashion. Unlike high fashion or celebrity examples, our film represents everyday people's struggles, acknowledging the challenges of breaking out of masculine stereotypes without blaming cishet men.

I am a website designer, citizen journalist, and content creator in the team. ZOECO is a Mandarin-based sustainable fashion media that targets general audiences by delivering practical knowledge about sustainable fashion. The contents are based on academic research and the sustainable courses I took. I also learned basic web design and production on WordPress. Furthermore, I have improved my time management ability and creative writing throughout creating this blog.
